Biography:
Rafael J. Tomita studied Chemistry at Federal University of São Paulo, Brazil and currently is a student at a master’s program in Biotechnology, at the same institution. Since 2013, works for R&D of Sakura Nakaya Alimentos Ltda., the biggest soy sauce producer in Brazil. He also joined the research group of Dr. Marcelo Vallim, at Federal University of São Paulo, which through an academy-industry partnership developed strains for industrial application by classical genetic breeding.
