Abstract:

The Conference is a space for discussing problems and potential in different areas, enabling the presentation of ideas and proposals by different actors involved or interested in the topic, originating from civil society, with the aim of contemplating the different existing realities. Aiming to record the diversity of visions and experiences in different international, regional, sub-regional and national realities. In this axis I consider how to ensure seeking ways to support the development of sustainable productive activities (agroecological, medicinal plants, crafts, tourism and agroindustry), the transformation of production, the structuring of marketing channels and access to institutional and non-institutional markets, support for access to credit policies and guarantee of social rights, empowerment for business management and community leadership and support for the development of projects that guarantee financial resources for the strengthening of segments of the rural and agrarian population. Concerning food science and technology, they are essential to ensure the safety, quality and availability of food from cultivation to consumption.The Importance of Preparing Food Safety Professionals to Protect Consumers.

Biography:

Segunda Nambeia Son of Sana Nambeia and Sabado Mbana was born in Bissau on June 23,1991 in the Cuntum neighborhood of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau. I am single and have a 10-year-old son.At the age of seven, my family integrated me into the SILDREM primary school until the 5th grade and after integrating into the ISSAK Newton school where I completed 12 years of schooling, I continued where I took a Portuguese language course at Colina University in 2021.In 2023, I joined the National Association of the Rice, Roots and Tubers Value Chain of Guinea-Bissau (ANCVART-GB) as an animator for ANCVART-GB partner producers.In turn, from 2022 to 2023 I worked at Hotel HALA as a manager. I started the animation activities with vegetable producers from the perimeter of Granja Pessube, traveling through some parts of the country, from door to door, during the agricultural production season. In 2023 to the present date, I have acquired in-depth knowledge in the promotion of agricultural activities mainly with the horticultural women of Guinea-Bissau. I participated in several workshops as well as technical training in agricultural production.
