Biography:
Dr. Raquel studied medicine at the Carlos Juan Finlay medical School of Camaguey, Cuba graduating in 2007. She later graduated as a specialist in General Medicine and then completed her specialty in Pediatrics. In 2018, she completed a diploma in Nutrition in National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology and Microbiology in Havana and two years later at this same institute she completed her master’s degree in Public Health Nutrition. She currently works at the Provincial Pediatric Hospital of Camaguey as a pediatrician dedicated to nutrition, teaching medical students and also evaluating patients who need nutritional intervention. She has published some articles in national and international magazines.
