Biography:
Patricia Bermúdez is a PhD candidate in Agricultural, Agro-Environmental, and Food Resources and Technologies at the Miguel Hernández University (UMH). She holds a BSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and an MSc in New Foods from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). Her research focuses on the valorization of agri-food by-products through the isolation of bioactive compounds and their incorporation into food matrices to enhance health properties and stability. Her work is deeply rooted in food technology, sustainability, and circular economy principles.
