Biography:

Dr. Bouchlkia Nasma is a researcher at the Center for Research in Agri-Food Technologies (CRTAA), Bejaia, Algeria. She holds a PhD in Process Engineering (Chemical Engineering). Her research focuses on the valorization of industrial and agri-food by-products to develop efficient materials for wastewater treatment within a circular economy framework. She specializes in the design and characterization of efficient adsorbents, photocatalysts, and composite materials. Drawing on her previous experiences in the plaster industry and entrepreneurship, she also has expertise in business management and the development and formulation of gypsum-based binders.
