Biography:

Laura Badin-Gailly is currently a third-year PhD student at the Laboratory of Biomolecules Engineering (LIbio), University of Lorraine, and a member of the Sirena Doctoral School. Her research focuses on plant-based food powders, particularly on the role of particle surface properties in the expression of their functional behavior. Through a multiscale approach, her work investigates the relationships between powder, particle and particle surface characteristics in order to improve the stability and functionality of plant-based powders for food applications.
