Biography:
Komal Azam is a food science researcher and a PhD scholar affiliated with the University Institute of Food Science and Technology, University of Lahore, Pakistan. Her research focuses on functional foods, food waste valorization, and the development of nutrient-enriched food products. She is particularly interested in utilizing agricultural by-products to create sustainable and health-promoting food solutions for addressing malnutrition and improving food security in developing regions.
