Biography:
Deeksha Semwal is a Ph.D. scholar in Food Science and Technology at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. She has completed her M.Sc. from VCSG UUHF Bharsar, Pauri Garhwal, and B.Sc. from HNBGU. Her M.Sc. research focused Standardization of starch extraction methodology and development of instant products such as custard and halwa from potato. Her current research emphasizes spice decontamination using advanced technologies and evaluation of food safety parameters. She has over 5 years of teaching experience and has contributed more than 10 book chapters, 4 research papers, and 2 review articles.
