Biography:
Alejandra Mabel Geraldi holds a PhD in Geography and is an Independent Researcher at CONICET, based at the Argentine Institute of Oceanography (UNS-CONICET), Argentina. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography and Tourism at the Universidad Nacional del Sur and Director of the Geotechnologies Laboratory. Her work integrates physical geography, geotechnologies and environmental risk management, with extensive experience in research and university outreach projects. She coordinates the IDESoB and specializes in optical and radar image processing, spatial modeling with GIS and Spatial Data Infrastructures, focusing on geospatial information management and democratization to address climate resilience and territorial sustainability.
