Prof. Shashi Bhushan Vemuri holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Entomology, specializing in Insect Toxicology and Pesticide Residues. With over 33 years of experience, he has served in various capacities, including Senior Professor, Principal Scientist, and University Head of Entomology at ANGRAU and PJTSAU. His expertise lies in food safety and food security issues, pesticide residues, insect toxicology, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Prof. Vemuri has actively participated in numerous international and national conferences and workshops, establishing strong connections with ICAR, state universities, and leading multinational corporations. He is a seasoned agricultural professional with extensive global travel experience, possessing profound insights into the socio-economic, political, cultural, and environmental dynamics of agriculture in India and other major agrarian economies worldwide.
