Biography:

Maria Luz Fidalgo is graduated in Chemistry from the Faculty of Sciences of Zaragoza (Spain) in 1989. PhD in Chemistry from the Faculty of Chemistry of San Sebastián in 1991. Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Vitoria-Gasteiz since 2002. Teaching in the degree program in Food Science and Technology and Pharmacy. Research lines: MOF-type materials and development of nanomaterials (nanoparticles, nanoemulsions) for application in food packaging, for active packaging materials, improving barrier and antioxidant properties. Participation in various research projects based on the study of sustainable packaging for cheese.
