Biography:
In-Yung Sunwoo is a postdoctoral researcher at the Jeju Bio Research Center of the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST), Jeju-si, Korea. She holds a Ph.D. in bioenergy and previously conducted postdoctoral research at Umea University, Sweden. Her research focuses on sustainable marine biotechnology, including microalgal and seaweed cultivation, bioactive compound extraction, functional biomaterials, and biorefinery development.
