Biography:
Dr. Ana Cristina Ramírez-Pérez is a materials scientist and chemical engineer with a PhD in Materials Science and an MBA (Universidad de Cantabria). Her career spans electrochemical materials research- including work at Nanyang Technological University and IUMA–Universidad de Alicante on energy storage and catalysis alongside industrial R&D at Grupo Dynasol and AIJU. In recent years she has led innovation and R&D+i consulting at Magma Group, most recently directing a MinCiencias-funded project (Orquídeas: Mujeres en la Ciencia) developing high-value carbon materials from cacao waste for energy storage applications. Her expertise combines materials characterization, electrochemical systems, and sustainability-driven project leadership.
